Field Service Technician

The Field Service Technician is the trained professional engaged in performing the field installation and its maintenances. Technicians are responsible for the field operation, troubleshooting, repair and client training of devices in an assigned location. They may also include training a plant’s maintenance team or other key colleagues on how to perform equipment maintenance.
The Field Service Technician delivers the service and customer assistance during field visits as per the client’s requirements. They manage all onsite fitting, patch-up, maintenance, and test cases. Technicians perform the diagnosis for the network and associated errors or technical issues and find the proper way out.
Usually the field technician work in the given site by the client, engaged in fixing and sustaining the network, hardware, software, and other telecom and IT-related set-ups.
When it comes to the telecom field, they play an essential role in the telecom sector as well.
The service technician will provide on-site customer support, installation, programming, maintenance, and repairs to a wide range of telecom systems. It includes equipment, wiring, and to other related computers or devices at several assigned locations within the agreed work areas.
Field experts work with various telecom devices and hand tools for the assistance, installation, and repair telephone poles, headsets, and associated peripherals in different locations and varied work environments.
