To become a computer network technician, you will need to be a college graduate who has a Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree. Some states require a certain amount of experience in the field to become eligible to work in this field, although most states require only a Bachelor's degree. To become certified as a computer network technician, you will need to pass a certain amount of exam administered by the National Computer Networks Certification Board or NCCB.


For most of the time, a computer network technician works with computers and networks as well as software and hardware systems. This includes hardware and software installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and configuration, and maintenance of networks. The basic job description of a computer network technician includes the installation of hardware and software and configuration of the network infrastructure, such as network switches, routers, and hubs. Networking is a very complex process, and the technician is responsible for keeping the network running smoothly and efficiently.


In many cases, the computer network technician will be a member of the network configuration management (NCM) team. This team is responsible for the installation and maintenance of the network's software and hardware, as well as the management of the network's configuration. As an NCM team member, you will be responsible for maintaining the network's configuration to ensure that it is functional.


In order to become a computer network technician, you will also need to be knowledgeable in troubleshooting hardware and software systems and networks, and also have a good working knowledge of the Windows operating system. You may be required to be trained in a certain number of different computer network security systems, such as Firewalls, anti-virus, and anti-spyware programs. You will also need to be familiar with the computer network management system and computer network security system as well as any other networks you may be working in.


So, in order to become a computer network technician job description, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in a computer related field, and a high school diploma. You will also need to pass the NCCB exam in order to become a certified. In order to become a certified, you must pass the examination over a certain number of hours. In some states, you will need to pass this exam every two years in order to stay certified.
